Summer Centre

London South Kensington is an exclusive centre for the University of the Arts summer camps only (no English lessons involved).

Our South Kensington centre is located in the heart of central London in the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea (Zone 1). The centre features a secondary school with modern facilities, 5 minutes walk from Sloane Square underground station. The contemporary student accommodation with twin en-suite rooms is located 15 minutes walk from the school. Our new centre provides easy access to London’s iconic landmarks such as Harrods & Hyde Park, Westminster, Big Ben and the London Eye.

College Features

The art lessons (organised and run by the University of the Arts London) take place at St Thomas More Language college – a traditional secondary school only 15 minutes walk from the accommodation building in the middle of Chelsea and a short walk from Sloane Square tube station.

All classrooms feature a computer and digital projector. Classrooms are large and well furnished for lessons.

Accommodation

Accommodation is arranged by Find Digs in a student residence just off the famous Kings Road, 15 minutes walk from the college where the lessons take place. The accommodation is also close to some of the world’s most famous shops, such as Harrods, museums, Battersea Park and for sports fans, Chelsea Football Club.

Twin en-suite rooms measure around 10m² and all have en-suite bathroom, two single beds, two wardrobes and two fitted study desk with chairs, a fridge and microwave. There is a TV next to each bed and up to 100Mbps WiFi throughout.

The large communal kitchens are open to all residents and have plenty of sinks, hobs, ovens and cabinets for each student. The residence also has a large common room and fully equipped laundry facilities available to use at any time.

The accommodation is a 15-minute walk from Sloane Square or South Kensington Underground Stations (Zone 1 - District and Circle Lines).
