Terms & Conditions for International

Foundation Diploma 'Find Education'

These terms and Conditions are issued by FIND DIGS LIMITED, a private limited company incorporated under the laws of England and Wales with company number 06867926, whose office is located at 142 Cromwell Road, London SW7 4EF. These terms and conditions and all documents referred to in these terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between the parties and supersede any representations or warranties or oral offers made on behalf of any party.

Application Form

Application forms can be completed by the Agent or student and must be sent via email or post to admissions@findeducation.uk. Application forms can also be completed online. All Application forms must be accompanied with supporting documents, which are passport copies, proof of current level of English and transcripts of school certificate/grades.

Signing of Application form: Students will need to sign the Application Form, unless a student is under 18 years of age; in this case, a Parent or Guardian must sign the Application Form. Agents are not permitted to sign Application forms on behalf of the student.

Offer letter

If your application is accepted, an offer letter will be issued by Find Education. The offer letter must be signed by the student and guardian/parent within 4 weeks of issuance. To accept the offer, a confirmation payment is required comprising a non-refundable registration fee of £250 plus advance tuition fees of as per your offer letter.

All offers are made subject to availability. We can only confirm your place once we are in receipts of your confirmation payment.

Cancellation

You can cancel your place with us in writing within 10 days of accepting the Offer Letter. You will be refunded in full, less a £700 Cancellation Fee.

If you cancel within 7 weeks of the start of term, your Confirmation Payment will not be refunded to you.

​

Refunds will be processed and paid back within 30 days.

​

All payments less the Cancellation Fee will be refunded if you cancel due to a visa refusal. You will need to show relevant proof of a visa cancellation before any refund can be confirmed.

If a student wishes to withdraw during the Academic term, Refunds will be processed only on medical and compassionate grounds. Refunds will be assessed on a case by case basis and will be at the sole discretion of the Academic Manager.

Course rules

The course rules outlined below are designed to ensure that all the students and staff of Find Education (and its agents) are able to operate an effective Foundation Course.

Admission to classes is dependent on all fees paid as per each student’s payment plan. Fees consist of Tuition fees, accommodation fees and administration fees.

Attendance is obligatory unless a student is sick or unwell. You must contact your academic manager on the day of sickness to note you will be absent from class.

​

All book costs are the student’s responsibility. Your Academic Manager can assist with purchasing books.

 

The breach of any course rule stated below may, if deemed significant, or prejudicial to other students or staff of Find Education (or its agents), result in dismissal from the course. Furthermore, any student who breaks the law or displays aggressive, intimidating or persistent or inappropriate anti-social behaviour may be dismissed instantly from the course. Should a student face instant dismissal, the student will be withdrawn from the course with immediate effect and will need to return home at his/her expense at the earliest possible opportunity.

Students are expected to attend all classes and arranged educational activities and. All damage to property, equipment and rooms will be charged to the student. Gratuitous or wilful damage to school property, public property or other students' property may result in dismissal from the course.

Airport transfers are not included in the fees and will only be arranged upon request.  To request an airport transfer please email paul@finddigs.co.uk.

Find Education cannot be held liable for damage, injury or accident to students’ persons or property.

Students need to be in good mental and physical health when starting a course. Any matters relating to health must be declared upon course application.

Find Education reserves the right to change details of its services, including courses, facilities, accommodation and course dates, where circumstances beyond the company’s control necessitate such changes. 

Every student must have appropriate insurance and provide a document with the student’s name and date of coverage as proof. Copies of all such insurance policies and evidence that all premiums have been paid needs to be sent to Find Education. The company recommends that all students take our own insurance which is tailored to the needs of international students. In particular, students should make sure that they organise their own travel insurance to cover medical costs and repatriation costs in the case of illness or accident. Find Education is able to provide insurance for all students at a cost of £10 per person per week.

Resolution of dispute 

In the event of a dispute between an individual student and the school, procedures are in place to facilitate the resolution of the dispute. Any complaint should first be made to the student’s Academic Manager. Each complaint will be fully investigated provided that it is received within a month of the course ending and all fees have been paid.

English Law

Find Education, its staff, representatives, agents, shareholders and directors will not be liable for loss, damage, cost or injury to persons or property howsoever caused, except where liability is expressly imposed by law. Find Education will not be liable in the event that any service contracted to be supplied by Find Education becomes impossible or unforeseeably impracticable or penal to supply for any reason or any cause outside the control of Find Education.

Find Education will need specific personal information from each student in order to process their application and secure their Foundation Course. Each student when signing their application form will be asked to give their consent for their personal information to be kept securely by Find Education and that such information will be held and distributed to the relevant departments of Find Education and their providers of education, accommodation and any other services related to the Foundation Course.

In the event that any of the students wish to withhold any of their personal information at any time, they will need to notify Find Education immediately in writing.

Find Education confirms that all personal information provided by the students will be kept secured and used only for the purposes of the processing the students’ application and offering the best service possible throughout the students’ studies.

The details of the foundation programme have been published in good faith. Every effort has been made to insure the accuracy of all published material. Find Education does reserve the right to make all necessary alterations.

Find Education reserves the right, unless we are advised to the contrary by the parent/guardian/student in writing, to use photographs or video clips as part of Find Education promotional material.

Students will be asked to fill out a questionnaire at the end of the course. Find Education reserves the right to use this material in future promotion, unless otherwise stated by the parent/guardian/student.

If a course includes a public holiday, then there is no reduction in the course fees.

Find Education is not liable in the event where it is unable to fulfil any service to which it is contractually bound because of fire, natural disaster, epidemic or pandemic, acts of government, failure of suppliers or subcontractors, acts of terrorism, labour disputes travel delays and cancellation or other reasons which are outside its control. 

 

In the event of an epidemic or pandemic being officially declared the student will be refunded £1000 and the course will be continued online (does not apply to blended 9-month option, where a reduction of fees has already been made).

All the above terms are applicable to direct students and Agents unless variations are expressly agreed between the Agent and Find Education in writing.

English Law shall apply to the contract and any non-contractual disputes arising therefrom, and the parties agree to submit only to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts. These terms and conditions must be read in conjunction with any contract for bookings and/or enrolments and these terms and conditions together with the contract (if any) constitute a legally binding contract.
